No. It's less than a 1/5 chance that the pup will be a Joker.
If the pup turns into an ordinary 08 rare you would be disappointed, and infact, the Angel advent can easily go for better offers.

I disagree, depending on whether you trade the card dog as a pup before anyone knows its rarity. I've been seeing the card pup go for cake dogs+, so if you were to trade it away before you know the actual rarity you can get a fair amount back. However if you plan on keeping it, that's a different story and a big gamble. I personally would take it though.
