I am torn on the store pets this month.

I like the cockatoo the most, I think it looks very adorable. The two raptors also look cool.
Buuuut I can't warm up to the kingfisher, it seems.
It's something about the head. With the other three, the shape of the actual birds' heads translates well onto the lion head.
But kingfishers have very long faces, and even with the frontal view on the pet, the head looks too round, broad and big for my tastes. It just looks kind of off anatomically, and if I grayscale the bunch of them, the kingfisher makes me think... jay maybe? Whereas I have no trouble recognizing what type of bird the others are.

On an artistic level they're all very pretty, I enjoy the colouring style on them. (Especially the cockatoo. Soft, pink friend.)


...And if there were more clothing options for lions (and the lines weren't so edited) I'd try to dress this one up as me tbh

Absolutely love the new store pets!
I knew I needed to get the set for this guy:

I love him to bits! Plus his wings have the pansexual colors so that made me want him even more!
Probably my favorite of them besides the bearded vulture.

I'm personally excited for these guys. I really like what Jayfrost has done with bwolves when they work with that lineart, no doubt these will be awesome too.

Oh yeah, now that you bring it up, I'll be keeping an eye on them too! :O Their mermaid bwolves were my favorite bwolf litter of the year.

There wasn't an announcement that the other store pets were leaving... is that normal? In the past I'm pretty sure there have been announcements, but it's been a few years since I've played 😅 I wanted to buy more sets before they left but oh well
