Hoard Discussion Thread v.6 new poll!

item hoarders!! how do you deal with your item hoards? do you use a single pet, multiple pets per item, or do you just...have a lot of one item? i happened to get a...large amount of sunflowers since i really like & use the item, so im guessing its a hoard now haha. but i dont know how to handle it!!

Some items I hoard are ones I just use a lot, so there's no need to have to display them all (all my stars, foliage, flowers, scenery, etc). Other item hoards are just big collections that I don't particularly use a lot but I just like the item (A lot of contacts, Halloween hoodies, tail mouth). I'm trying to do a single type of item hoard that covers the pet, but it's been slow going:

I just need to find time to work on it.
I also have a whole group for pets with item hoards on them. Animal eggs get their own group too.

Just at this time I traded for around 1.000 hoardies and am scratching now at the number of 5.000 pets in my unssorted Hoardies Group. *cracks fingers* I think, it is time for some sorting xD

I'm so happy I completed my hoard! The deers look so pretty and I'm so glad I got it done!

I'm a little bit more than halfway done with this hoard! It's in memory of my heart hamster Teacup, who had the same pattern and color. It was only fair to hoard the entire litter though. My goal is 100, I'm at 56!


Also now that my Galaxy horse hoard is complete, it's time to start a new hoard based off another Owl City song! This time Vanilla Twilight. I'm also planning on making some other hoards based on the songs Strawberry Avalanche, Plant Life and How I Became the Sea, and possibly When Can I See You Again, Speed of Love, To the Sky and Rainbow Veins. These are just ideas, though. Owl City songs just give me so much inspiration for hoards :3

The fools court - (8/100)

And now time for my hardest hoard but my absolute favorite, the fools court. I am only using the 2013 Jester dogs for it despite the new caterpillars and other jester like pets because I just adore them but dear lord are they hard to find. Made it 100 because jesters are kind of my favorite thing. I hope to finish this one before my birthday next year but we'll see haha

YAY! Next set of complete hoards! 33 of them was finished today thanks to one huge quantity trade and thanks to my friends (thank you so much all ♥)
I'm so happy that I finished so many hoard just before the Christmas event, so I will have enought time to work on new hoards too ^^

Question what was your first hoard and why?

Mine was pugs and is a memorial hoard anything that looks like a pug to me is in it so I’m at 246 right now

Don't give up just yet - they only came out this year.
Some hoards just take longer and the staff litters are always very popular.

Keep them on your wishlist and slowly but surely you will get them. ^^ Maybe through gifts (especially during the christmas season), maybe through adoption centers, maybe through friends or random trades. Or the pound.
