Tried to trade a January 2014 for a December 2013 (non-advent), both UC (both were dogs). Told it was unfair and I had to pay TWO 2014 UC?

Seems a little weird. 3 month rule doesn't suddenly go out the window because a new year has happened IMO.

Am I weird for thinking that's asking too much?
TIP: Put pets you don't want to trade into a locked group to prevent unwanted trades!
