I just answered a PM about a theory but thought I may as well post it here as it might help you guys in solving my pup!

The riddle talking about vibrant colors + something smelling sweet and the hint talking about about feathers are one in the same and are meant to direct you to the same thing. They should be put together to try and figure out what matches it rather than singularly comparing them to the pup.

Another thing, both hints don't actually refer to my pup! The context of them is for something else, but no one has actually figured that out yet. Lastly, the not a real animal part I mentioned isn't referring to mythological creatures like phoenixes, unicorns, etc. ;D

Our Potential Candidates for Raire's pup, assuming everything is correct with her denials/ruled out due to claim/hint.


Jayfrost's pup.

Time to apply the hints. with all the iced coffee hints (especially the picture_, it can't be the darker colored pups, so let's rule them out.



Leaving us with these four. I don't think it's the plain marked one as Raire stated that they share a lot of features....ANNnNNND that the pup, while going to go through a major change, it still has markings.



So now we're down to three. "No brown eyes" rules out the heterochromatic dog, since one of it's eyes is brown.



Leaving us with these two. Now back to Jayfrost's!



Raire hinted that they share a lot of details, and her hint was cold and rough...and tough. Between these two, heart dog shares the most with that set of hints in the pup stage. However, Raire confirmed that it's bunny inspired, NOT heart based. (but she never ever confirmed that it wouldn't be both)

I do think it's the one with heart markings; blue eyes (which a few other dogs have; freckle dog does share its eye color as well, BUT its more unique to it), Similarities with Jayfrosts (Edited ears, similar if not the same color palette). Rough where Jay frost's is Smooth (The head has something on it, where as Jayfrost's has nothing there). Also the ears are flicked back and it's expression is one of disdain.

Coffee; Well under the darker top coat is the color of the iced coffee she's referencing. Unnatural and Natural markings (The Socks and Coat are natural markings....the rest are unnatural)

So that's my guess.

It does however have a heart on it, though you will probably not really see it on the adult as it is tiny.

It has the same color as iced coffee, and it has cold colored eyes.

It also resembles iced coffee, maybe an iced coffee that hasn't been stirred thoroughly, has cold colored eyes, and if you look at it compared to Jayfrost's pup there are similarities such as the pups' stomachs being the same color, and leg markings in similar places. And the shading isn't as soft as some of the other puppos.

"cold" doesn't refer to the eye colour.
Well, okay, it does fit in the end, but that wasn't what I meant. I'll confirm now that "cold" actually refers to the theme/markings in comparison to Jayfrosts fluffy (= warm) pup. ^^

Actually both of my hints were coincidences as you can see above - I didn't think about my pups eyes as "cold coloured".

The first "iced coffee" post was just because I was drinking it at the time and it fit the palette lol - but I found that perfect picture later on and then used it as a real hint. :'D

Okay so since raires is not the one i thought it was im now putting my weight behind the rough looking rabbit ears one. Given its name is alpha leporis and the rough colors could look like a iced coffee before its blended...i think that works most evenly.

OR

Hers might be the one that has closed eyes and goes from light to dark...its rough in that its only an idea now...but smooth in a smooth transition from dark to light. Dark to light would also work with astronomy refernces.

the cream colored one that looks the most like the coffee she linked...but i put less stock in that...sorta too obvious?

I already denied the first, two is Yagmurs and... if it is "too" obvious, then why can't it be the right pup? :'D

Rabbit looking one with the ears... I think that's Swiftalu's harsher lines than last year's but fluffy looking.

It is not really "blended", but an anagram - I chose "Alpha Leporis", because... oh well, maybe somebody will spot it on the adult... :E

I believe Raire's will grow to have bunny features, because Phaeras L'lopi/Alpha Leporis when unscrambled, has another name "Arneb" meaning "The Hare". Meaning we can cross out any pups with hearts, because Raire said it either had bunny features or hearts.

c: As I said above, it's all about the heart & the name hints to something else, definitely not bunny features.

Yeah same here. And I forgot the Yagmur took the one with the big gradient.

So...yeah...it's just the clue of ROUGH and COLD but also SMOOTH...that's confusing.

But I'd consider the posibility of the cream-colored one for the same reason - it's simply the one that's closest to the image. And the things that have to do with Alpha Leporis will only show in the end result.

But again...isn't that a bit simple? I don't know. Without any samples of her art, other than the rabbit in her sig (I assume she drew that one?) it's really hard to say.

"smooth" is not one of my hints though and I already confirmed that both can only be guessed on the adult stage - I only used these words in comparison to Jayfrosts "warm, soft" words in their signature to show you that Jayfrosts Ari is my pups cuddle buddy. ;3

Yes, it is very simple, but I learned from our dear Troll Master Pluma and I guess I trolled you good enough in the beginning :'D

btw, every piece of art in my signature comes from the same artist and that is not me. I'm not a good artist at all.

I now think it's this pup.

It will have bunny features, I think the hearts were just trolls. The custom bunny is one clue, but your pup's name, Phaeras L'lopi, unscrambles to Alpha Leporis aka Arneb aka The Hare.

Jayfrost's pup has warm colored eyes, Raire's pup has cool colored eyes and is based on iced coffee, as for the "rough" part I don't know. maybe it will develop rough features later.
