To help with picking out what breed Taavi is loosely based on, here are the relevant hints. :3

(yes, it was a hint!),
'big', 'giant', "I'm not a big fan of fawn in general", "he's going to change somewhat in his colouring and markings once he matures", "it has been mentioned at least once in thread".

I'll also add that his pup stage is a fairly accurate, though stylized, depiction of the puppy of this breed.

ok, I will go ahead with my guess. I saw it posted once before, and no one has guessed it since. I feel like this pup will become a St. Bernard. If I am not right, I would be stunned. BP

Well, a St. Bernard mix maybe. I went and searched for tan pups, and they don't look like Taavi BUT some mixed pups I found did. C:

1. Edited tail, another edit Verdana seems fond of is fur.
2. The line art is both edited and not edited. The pup retains the overall shape of the default pup lines, but it's still tweaked.
3. Eyes look red to me.
4. "Poured black ink down a sink" there is definitely a spiral/splattery look to this pup's markings.
5. The pup actually does kinda look like a cornucopia.
6. 4 legs, 1 tail
7. No floppy ears here!

I actually kinda believe this.[the ridgeback thing]
It looks like it has a lighter coat than many of the puppies but it still has the dark tips at the ears.
