Mountains?

This makes a lot of sense. In certain conditions, they are very blue, but everyone knows they aren't. There are also famous ones that I could recognize from a picture (the Grand Tetons, Mt. Everest, etc.).

I agree, I tried following up on that a while ago and the farthest I got was about their real life BMD, meaning not very far.

Me too. It fits perfectly, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Their 2011 staff dog has mountains on it, but I couldn't get much further than that. Searching posts and pets didn't bring up anything.

i meant the item that is the riddle for blue, not the pup itself. the pup isnt even based on the blue hint- it's personality is, if i remember correctly

For the 'movies' hint, remember that the context for it was the movies' effects on the reaction of the person meeting Taavi in a dark alley. One movie would be more likely to give them a positive reaction while the other would give a negative reaction, despite the object of each movie being exactly the same thing.

Naturally. Like if the giant thing is relevant, The BFG vs. Jack the Giant Slayer, or Hotel Transylvania vs. Dracula for vampires. The hard part is figuring out what movies...

For the 'blue but not blue' hint... aw, man, you've come so close but still missed it. X3 The perceived blueness of this thing varies a lot depending on a bunch of factors - sometimes it doesn't look at all blue while other times it might seem very blue if conditions are right. *cough*cough*hint*cough*cough*

Like... snow...? When there's a shadow on snow, it can appear blue. There are many things that can appear blue...

Some very interesting ideas coming up from this one; way more than I expected! However, I'll point out that while you're all tearing your hair out over this 'blue' hint, you could find the answer to the riddle in literally two clicks. :b

Well, in "literally two clicks" I get to a pet group with one pet that has mountains in its scene, one that features a BMD plush, and one that basically IS a mountain OF BMD plushies, so I feel as though I might be on the right track.
