For some reason I feel like this pet is going to grow up to be super detailed and beautiful... idk, I just feel as though the plain design won't last

Even if it doesn't, I love this pet's calm colors and violet eyes : )

Yes, I believe I did mention that in my post as that being the downfall of my little guess ^.^ And I agree. Who will truly know until the cat's out of the bag? ^^

alright i'm gonna piece together my own theory around here so bare with me please


this could potentially, maybe be Lilian's? while the one curled pup's shading had me convinced, esp because it seems to have their trademark shading. they've mentioned theirs doesn't have a curled tail, so it marks that one out. and if we take into consideration like, the hints of 'tired', the natural markings, and the wing thing, i'm probably reaching but the little thing on the back looked like possibly a duckling to me at first? just with it's head down,
so it maybe could be a chick or avian of some sorts that might grow to be protecting the dog in the adult stage or something else

idk though sjdkj i usually don't try and guess what pup belongs to what artist :')

thats totally what i was thinking here! <3 much agree, also tired could be annoyed aswell rather thean looking typically tired, this pup looks almost depressed to me, fed up with the world and everything that had happened to it which is how i typically get when im feeling depressed.

this pup, instead of it being annoyed maybe thats a sorta tear coming out of its eye? natural markings also and not a curled tail

Maybe still a reference to tears? and maybe the one speaking in the backstory is the thing on its back which will grow into something with wings??

i also feel this pup shares the soft markings of your style, but is still only subtly your style

The SLT style pup gives me vibes that seem like your art. This is probably a bad guess.
