I'm always happy to see donkeys on here, something about the ears makes the lineart much better and cuter! We need more donkeys, I want an entire army of them!

I like it as well, but is the front hoof usually smaller?
For some reason that is really bugging me here.

Your right they are smaller than the regular pony lineart:

On closer inspection the head is also slightly edited

They seem to be a common edits on all of the donkeys, the very first edit of the donkeys had it too:


I think the edit is because donkeys have a more cylindrical hoof whereas horses/ponies have a more triangular hoof and they were trying to imitate that difference but i'm not sure.

It does look like the others have it as well - but it's just the front hoot- the others aren't made smaller ...
It kind of throws me off a bit.

I have to say the lineart doesn't really look very donkey-ish, except for the ears, head and tail. I know it's still a bit different than the regular pony lineart, but I think the donkey-ness could have been worked out a bit better. As it is here, to me it looks more like a pony lineart with glued-on donkey parts.

See I have the exact opposite problem with the lineart, because i don't think the pony lines look like ponies, they look wrong to me somehow. I generally think this when i think pony,


I totally understand that if they just made them smaller versions of horses, there wouldn't be much difference but thats pretty much what ponies are. But by making the head slightly larger and adding the foot and tail edits, the pony lineart looks like what an actual donkey looks like to me.


but then again i'm not fan of hamsters but i am a fan of mice and when we got those tail edits of mice on the syrian hamster lines i also went gaga for those so it probably just comes down to what is aesthetically pleasing to each ones eye.
