Unfair to them; a 2010 rare is worth 4 2010 uncommons and your side adds up to 2 + extra pets which don't equal the remaining 2 needed to fill the gap

No, unfair.
Their dog is not a list pet and is only worth two early '09 rares. Your tess horse is worth 5-6 '09 rares.
