I stayed up late, snagged one at 6:30, started again 10 am. I "only got one wish list, most were commons and some were uncommons." But that is still a blessing and FUN. We're nine years into a FREE site. You do not have to pay a red cent and you can still have a lot of fun! It's a site that's creative, safe for kids, family friendly (I have daughters here) and so do many others. We have many, many players that have family members and friends and some even share the same computer. (Just read their profile.) This game is a blessing and fun. I'm sorry it's over, but life must go on. I have laundry to do. I changed Dad's bed (80 year old with an accident.) in between pound and "click for egg". I ate breakfast and did dishes the same way, and fed the dogs too. The dogs were patient as I had fun. I thank the staff, the site, and fellow players. On a side note, I found someone that I considered "missed out" and gave them a few extras on their wish list. If we all did the same, we could pay forward what the site admins have done for us. Have a wonderful holiday season, spring, summer, rest of the year and life. And be blessed with enjoying what we have here...cuz life outside can sometimes suck and this gives a break.

before we start celebarting the end of the event, i just wanted to point this out.

on the pound page it states that the 99k special will go on for a few days, but i'm unsure if either they underestimated how quickly the pets will go or maybe its just a glitch ?

To celebrate Chicken Smoothie's 9th birthday we're going to give away 99,999 pets at super speed!

To make this happen, the Pound will have some special rules for the next few days:

You can adopt from the Pound once every 15 minutes.
The pound will refill with a new batch of pets for people to choose from every time it becomes empty. So please adopt as many pets as you can as this will keep things moving!

they might also be stopping for a temporary break, but i'm sure there would be an official post if the 99k special is coming to an end or has ended.

Irisidum confirmed it was themselves (Closed temporarily) , stating that many members were complaining it would ruin CS's currency.

I was talking about not being able to see all the pets that are in the pound when I mentioned that. We've not had any official word that it's over yet, but mathematically it makes sense.^^
