It's a fair swap! They are both on the same tier on the same list so it would be fair. But yours is a true date so it really is up to you. Do you value true date pets more? If so then it's unfair to you. If not, then it's a perfectly fair trade for the two of you ♥

I believe you are just slightly overpaying because theirs is a re release but if you don't care about that it is fair because they are on the same tier

Unfair to you. The top is worth 2 2009 rares while your dog is worth 3-4 2009 rares.

Rarity wise it's very unfair to them, they're offering an 09 rare for a cat worth an early '10 uncommon. Demand wise it depends how you value the cat for it to be fair or not.
