i just joined today, will i be able to get the boxes???? i saw somewhere that people who joined before a certain date got excluded, and i was hoping i made the deadline

There's no exclusion, even if you joined on December 18th you would still be able to adopt the box ^^

There is an exclusion. If you join on or before dec 18th, I don't know how much before, but if you join around dec 18th, you cannot adopt from the box.
