*DISCONTINUED* Rares List Guide (1 March 2019)

The fact that people want to retire the list has me frustrated.
I spent years / months trying to get my list pets. I don’t want their value to disappear after I worked hard to get them.

I didn't spend as much time as you, but seeing people wanting the list retired also frustastes me for the same reason

Just to bring a different idea about the post with results, and it is just a possible idea, I'm not saying it's true, but could it be possible that instead of skewing that survey, it's possible some people who want the list or want to change it, are multiaccounting to get more votes on this poll, where it actually counts?

Not trying to start anything, but it's a counter possibility.

(It’s the reason it’s now a thing to put things in multiple quotation marks to be really “””edgy””” or whatever when being sarcastic)

(Look up “appropriate quotation marks” or something)

(But this is something that either has to be taught or has to be learned through a lot of exposure, so considering we have a lot of kids and non-native English speakers on here...)

(I understand but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating that the title is literally joking about the fact that this is supposedly official)

Their value isn’t going to change overnight. The list retiring won’t really change anything because people will most likely still value their pets as listed here. Sunjewels or Non dogs won’t suddenly start going for ‘09 rares.

This is one of the problems with the list. The fact that you’ve spent years doing this proves that list trading is ridiculous, especially for newer players.

This is exactly the problem with the list though. There shouldn’t have to be users spending months/years to get anywhere in the economy.

Something I’ve noticed is that unless people are lucky enough to receive lists via December 18th or the pound, the only seemingly viable way for newer users to acquire them is by off-site trading, as nobody is ever willing to trade off the list, and that is a huge problem. Trading on Chicken Smoothie should be simply that, trading on Chicken Smoothie. People shouldn’t have to feel obligated to work their way through the economy of a completely different website just to get anywhere on here. It’s kind of ridiculous, and shows that there is a problem that needs to change.

If this is happening, chances are it’s happening for both of the options.
The survey is entirely optional, and results can easily be skewed on self-choice surveys. I dont think it would be because of a massive double-accounting issue.

you guys wanting to change the value of pets that are more valuable than regular pets is ridiculous. obviously you should have to work for omgsrs/very rare list pets. if we all got the pets we wanted as easily as we wanted, then we’d be trading commons for very rares.

@catswithsomeconk i disagree. destroying the list will make other players think that list pets are valued the same as 09 rares. while older, senior players won’t, new players will. it’s just a horrible idea to destroy the list after its been here for years and has WORKED for years

edit: destroying list implicates that pets on the list are worth the same as pets off the list.

You just twisted our words around completely. Never did we say these pets should be easy to get. We said it’s ridiculous that trading like this takes YEARS of your life. And if you disagree that’s fine, but not everyone spends years on a pixel pet game

dark, you’re right but people choose to spend time on collecting pets if they enjoy it. i leave chickensmoothie for months at a time and come back, yet i manage to have 4 omgsrs/ other lists too. you say you didn’t say that they should be easy to get but they shouldn’t take time to obtain??? that doesn’t make sense. my apologies if i misunderstood you, but that’s what it sounded like.
