Ok so another question, is the moonswirl's worth going to drop? I'm asking because I was originally going to offer 3 nons worth for one but if it is going to be lowered on the list should I wait it out? What do you guys think?

we can’t say for sure what’s going to happen, questions like that just can’t really be answered. as of right now I’d trade more according to rarity than what this list would tell you. It’s actual worth is OMGSR, by rarity. As of now a non is also omgsr, and I highly doubt with actual numbers a moonswirl is worth three times as much as a non. Though as I said, we don’t know for sure.

Regarding the omgsr’s I’m still wanting to bring up merging more of the tiers since that died down again.

personally id wait out because theres a lot of uncertainty for the future placements of higher list pets right now,

it would be nice if everyone shared their thoughts for the suggestions made on the previous pages so that things can start getting done with these omgsr placements

I know we said we'll wait but here's my opinion on a new rearrangement.
Going off release dates and rarity change dates (if applicable).
Would also help in placing new pets because we'd have a solid baseline.

All released in July 2008 and remained OMG

2.
UR Cat released 2008 [omg so rare after overhaul]

UR B-Wolf released 2008 [omg so rare after overhaul]
All released in December 2008 and remained OMG, banana were frequently deleted because of dislike, making them more rare than they should have been.

Plains Zebra & Grevy's Zebra released 2009 [omg so rare after overhaul]
Available in monthly adoptions

4.
UR Tiger Dog [omg so rare after overhaul]
Moonswirl [VR January 2013] [omg so rare March 2013]***

As far as rarity and changes go this was the one I saw that had all the information and rarity changes to back it up? What about all the new OMGSRs with this, though? And the tiers below it?

Also the Bengal is a fluxating one though it stayed OMGSR but it was obviously one of the ones originally on the border.

^yeah I agree the Bengal belongs with the coontail and the mountain zebra, those three were around whatever the old threshold was, whereas the new OMGSRs were slightly lower and only made the threshold when it was lowered.

The original point of that post is to say that you can expect someone to pay 2 OMGSR’s which we’re bouncing between the original worth of 1 in 1000 users (aka a fluxing omgsr -> vr -> omgsr) for a OMGSR which is worth more than it (a omgsr worth more than 1 in 1000 because it has always stayed omgsr) but you can’t expect someone to pay more than 3 omgsr’s for a sunjewel tier going off this ratio working. This works to what Lacuna was saying back a few pages back about the gaps. This will not only reduce gaps drastically doing it this way but will also help when placing pets in the future. Why though is hard to explain. A sunjewel would be hypothesised to be beyond the 1 in 1000 ratio. 2 pets that are bouncing like the cucumber could be worth anything, but are noctoriously less than 1/1000 but never as low as 1/700 otherwise they couldn’t jump up into omgsr again after Christmas reveals. It could be worth saying that 2 ur cucumbers can equal that to a sunjeweled this way. This also works with getting the worth for each tier in between. You could make each tier worth the same all the way to the worth of a ur cucumber or you could ratio it out so it’s smaller at the bottom end of the list and bigger at the top.*****

We know that to have a fluxing tier pet like the urcucumber that it’s worth is anywhere between 1/700 users to 1/999 users due to their lack of OMGSR status it previously and now has again. The recent update only changes the idea that perhaps these new pets weren’t on 1/700, maybe closer to 1/850-1/900 users.

So the idea with the new omgsr’s is that perhaps a new tier could be made which is stagnant.

Omgsr- If a pet comes out the bat as OMGSR it should theoretically go straight where the UR Phoenix is. If not, it goes down to the Vr tiers. There should be a tier just for this for that reason. And if it ever increases then go from there and move it to maybe ur cucumber or whichever tier is fancied.

With the VR tiers it’s harder to work out the tiers worth, so I would like to think that there should be three broken lists, similar to what the original list was but broken more so to explain the difference between each list.

I would also add a tier to all the pets that have only just now entered the OMGSR club after the overhaul at the bottom. These pets do not belong in any br setting anymore. (Mainly rats specifically)

VR main list

Have this be the rarest of the rates. Any pet from 08 and go by date. So all July and August pets should be classified as the rarest of the site due to way trading has always gone. I also thought maybe to calculate the group worth of a litter based off where they are currently on the list, and dividing the tier number by the number of littermates to find the median tier palxingn the group can be.

So after the big gap. Purple toxic is on tier 2, blue fox is on tier 4, red on 8 and the other toxics are on tier 9
So 2+4+8+9+9=32

32/5= 6.1

So the litter would be on tier 6

If you did this with every pet and get their averages based of the list as it is, perhaps it might be the way to sort things out.

And the ideaologies behind it is that it keeps pets roughly where they should be. It keeps litters together and establishes that older pets are worth more than newer ones.

Galaxy dogs (1 + 3 / 2 ) = 2

Sorbets = 5 (math is easy here)

Toxics = 6

Tribals = 1 + 7 + 11 = 19 / 3 = 6.34

There are many faults with this idea. One, where to put advent list? Also what about pets without families? Split groups with the September list? Store pets?

I thought to suggest as it might work with how things are and I can’t even think of a way to reshuffle the be portion of the list outside of this way. But I am only hoping that even if this idea isn’t accepted it might help towards another idea...?

*****- It might be worth mentioning this didn’t include the new first timer omgsr’s we have now. Maybe those could be the bottom of this list Mozzy made and two of those = sunjeweled?
