I remember now - when I was calculating pet values using the old "gaps list", the Spotted Tribal (directly below big gap) and Nick Unicorn (directly above big gap) were worth the same amount. So if the old gaps list was correct, then we should not only remove the big gap but also combine these two pet lines into one. I am unsure if the old trading values for these pets are still correct though, so discussion would be needed before looking into this seriously ofc. I think the community wanted to discuss moving misplaced omgsr pets first though, like UR Bengal.

Yeah, searching your posts for "rares list big gap" shows me some of your posts on the old thread in 2014 and 2015 bringing up this issue. That should definitely at least go on the laundry list of stuff to discuss; back then, apparently those two pets were literally the closest to each other in value among all the pets on the Main List at the time of your posts

For years, I always inferred that 'the big gap' meant that there was just a massive gap between pet A above the gap and pet B below the gap, not that the gaps start getting bigger (above the non-tier).

I am all in favor of top half and bottom half.
That is clear and not misleading.

That males sense, mozzy. It will mme it much easier to find pets on the list.
But a lot of work... addig names, links ans the pictjred list...

I also want to bring up the tiers again for the foal and following URS and OMGSRs. Are we going with the UR Lion to Dogtag or since someone pointed out that the UR Lion is also VR did we want to go with Aussie up to Dogtag? I think the latter is a better idea.

Honestly it never made sense to me why the main list would need to be visually broken up, the September & Advent lists work fine with us just referring to them as low, mid & high.

I personally support the second option of having all OMGSR polls minimum tier be UR Aussie, though I think it would be good to include more tiers than just up to Dogtag. I don't personally think any of the other OMGSRs are going to be voted above Dogtag tier but if you take out the non & UR Lion options and add all the tiers from UR Aussie to Sunjewel you could do away with the potential need for a second poll with the OMGSRSs (would still need to have the option for other pets), as well as ensuring all OMGSRs are treated the same and subject to the same poll options. As we already know according to rarity changes the OMGSRs were placed on the list according to demand at the time not rarity really anywhere they end up in this range is fine according to how the top of the list is currently (unless there's plans to reorganise all the OMGSRs at the top of the list according to rarity changes rather than demand?) So a standard poll for OMGSRs could look like this:

I believe that we are trying to use the tiers that are already in place since adding new tiers is not always necessary and it can make things even more complicated than they need to be. This was actually one of the first questions I had about the list.

There have been new tiers added in the past couple of years but those were due to strange circumstances.
