The thing is the gap actually legit means nothing. There is no gap anymore. All it is actually now is something to "break" up the amount of tiers in the large mainlist. So a line of ---- would make more sense and be less confusing tbh.

And no, the gaps get bigger after the non tiers, but the "big gap" doesn't actually exist. ^^

in that case ya id say get rid of the gap notion all together and stick with a line, that way it can just be called above and below the line?

I always knew that the tier gaps around the 'big gap' weren't necessarily any bigger until you got higher up the list, but I never actually knew what it meant, so that was really interesting to find out! I just thought it meant pets above the gap were getting more valuable, so it divided the more valuable half of the list.

I think this makes sense.
In my opinion, the most important part would be removing the word ‘gap’ since that seems to be the misleading part. It comes off as if there is a large value difference between the pets it separates when in reality there is not.

For years, I always inferred that 'the big gap' meant that there was just a massive gap between pet A above the gap and pet B below the gap, not that the gaps start getting bigger (above the non-tier).

It's definitely something that needs changed to be a bit more transparent as it appears we've all got some sort of different implication out of what the gap actually means.

^ I think that was its original meaning, except that the pets directly above and below the "big gap" are actually so close in value that they should probably be on the same line, if I recall correctly. I would have to dig up my old notes to confirm but the topic of the gap has been brought up before so they might be earlier in the thread somewhere.

ikr I just found that out and it kinda blew my mind because I always thought that there was a massive gap between the pets on the gap and main list but really there isn't
