I've had a similar problem, I was facing a rare Malk and I kept spamming the 'Adopt Me' button, but it wouldn't register it and kept zooming in and out.

I grabbed this little pretty. I don't know why, but I saw this pupper and just decided it was mine, it was coming home with me. this is now my pupper. =3 and I am pleased
