I got my dreamie (triceratops) (I was going to say for an april 2010 pet but it was for free xD) But I got the PPS unicorn for an April 2010 pet, so 2016 store pets are worth mid-year 2010 rares

Valuing a rare as 4 uncommons from the same year:
'10 uncommon='12 rare=2 '13 rares=4 '14 rares=8 '15 rares=16 '16 rares

if I did my maths right, a '13 rare is worth 128 '16 very commons.
(a '13 rare is worth 8 '16 rares, one '16 rare 4 '16 uncommons and a '16 uncommon is worth 4 '16 very commons).
