Question: how much are 2017 store pets worth? And how much are 2016 store pets? Because what I've been working out from is this:

2016 store pets = late 10 rare
2015 store pets = mid 10 rare
2014 store pets = early 10 rare

Has this been changed now taht we are in 2017? So 2016s equal mid 2010 rare? I'm confused. Because further up in the thread Vixey said 2013 store pets are worth mid 09 rares but according to what I've used it's a late 09 rare..? ;n;

Personally I wouldn't shift the value of the store pets, as the '10 rares (etc.) are also getting rarer and more valuable. I'd value a current 2017 store pet at a late '10 rare (since we're so near the start of the year) and later 2017 store pets as early '11 rares. That's just my personal opinion, though, I don't think there's any consensus. =)

If you look at the 2nd post of the C$ thread, current month store pets are worth the same as a mid/late 2010 rare. And like the thread said, "As store pets get older, their worth rises but it rises slowly!".
So each year/time a store pet is released, it'll always be worth a mid/late 2010 rare until it changes. As for 2016 store pets, I'll value them as a early/mid '10 rare instead of a mid/late one.

The first one is from Valentine's Day 2009 and is worth another VR within the 3 month rule or two '09 rares.
The second one is from October 2008 and is worth a 2 2009 rares + a uncommon or so.

Ok does the albino zebra seriously go for store pets or are the people I'm trading with just insane? I had one user say they apparently go for 4 store pets? If that's true than man did the site go downhill so I'm hoping they were lying..

At first, when they were released, people saw it as a super rare pet since not everyone got it in their new year's gift. Demand usually spikes when some people decides that a certain pet is worth more than it is (Example like this zebra or the August PPS lion from 2016) because the line art is special, new species etc.
But to answer your question, no, not anymore at least. When it was first released, I've seen them going for multiple '09 rares (which is kind of ridiculous) but it has died down now. Though, people still overpay for it, but just by a uncommon or so.

By rarity, it's worth another VR within the 3 month rule or two 2009 rares. Though, rats goes for underpay because they have lower demand. I'm not sure if you were to auction it if people would give you a fair trade since rats aren't exactly in demand.
Though, if someone offers two decent demand 2009 rares or more, i'd say it's an auto win since it's hard to trade or even auction off rats.

Wow you guys, did I cause a fuss by saying mid 2009 rare? Really?
You guys are acting like it's such a huge difference between mid and late!
I've been being told late 09 rare since when I joined.
Pretty sure they are worth that slight difference more by now! especially since the threads that help with store pet value are pretty out of date and saying
2011 store pet = early 09 rare
2012 = mid
2013 = late

Which is real stupid because we all know a lot of the 2011 store pets are on the list now I highly doubt half are worth 3-4 09 Rares and the rest 1
It was pretty much admitted by everybody who knows what they're talking about that 2011 store pets are worth 2 09 rares each if not on the advent list so there

Besides I still don't see what the huge difference is between mid and late that I caused some kind of huge confusion. It's not like an admin made these rules! They're not that strict. Come on guys!

The pickle has some trouble fetching even half its worth.
People don't really seem to like it.
