Nobody knows what they are worth. Inform people they can go for anything and that you've seen it go for more or less is fine, but don't go around saying 'its worth a non.' UR pets are literally the freedom of trades! I've seen both go for as little as balloon dogs all the way up to ur bee's, zebras and UR bw's. most common is def not a non and their demand has not settled enough to warrant a clear advice on worth. Please know that this is why pets aren't placed until September the following year, demand takes a long long time to settle in!
By claiming you know what they are worth you aren't being honest with the person asking for help and with yourself. Nobody knows what they are worth, and claiming you do gives people a false feeling of security and can make them accept a trade they think is all they are gonna get, while they could've gotten more, or even decline a trade because they thought they could get more while that was really it.

She did not say it's worth a non, she said it's been going for one. As that is what she has seen them going for. If you read all of it, DaDwarf said we can tell people what we've been seeing them go for.

The Cinnamon bun has been going for around non's on their own. I traded my Bun and Peach for an UR Aussie+Blue Toxic+Purple Slepnier. If you are patient I'm confident you could get more for both of them.

I personally value like 2-3 Commons for an Uncommon etc.. So it depends on how you value it but I'd say it's a slight overpay.

If this was directed to me, my advice did not say they were WORTH a non but that they'd been being traded for that, which I know because I held an auction for my Bun and more than half the trades were valued around a non, and I've been watching other auctions. I also cited a very specific trade (in fact one I RECEIVED) and said that if they were patient they would likely be able to trade both their pets for more than a non.

I think everyone can agree that if they are speaking about a trade, they have experience for what the pets are worth due to previous examples of those pets being traded. Otherwise, where in the world does the knowledge of those pets come from? If someone is offering advice, of course the advice may not reflect the perfect trade situation; but in the current time period, we can only go off of what has been: a) offered and b) accepted in regards to trade. IF someone offered it, then that is its worth. I've spoken on this before, but I'll say it again: if a pet is being traded for a specific pet, then that is what the value of the pet is set to be at because it is what someone will pay for the pet. Are there trades outside of that norm? Yes. Plenty. But unless we have concrete data that one pet is traded over another pet (pet x instead of pet y for pet z), we cannot say its not worth what they paid for it, espeically if it has no placement on the list.
