From what i have seen it can go for 2 or 3 tiers higher than it's placement. If no list pet is involved it might go for more, depending on the rares and how badly someone wants it.

Unfair to you. Your dog is an early 09 rare and worth 40-45c$. In case of demand, c$ tends to have not the best demand, your dogs is average and it goes for fair trades (:
