Gigi was different. She had a different perspective on everything, she could solve problems that required unique thinking,
And, to be point-blank, Gigi wasn't sane. And she was fully aware of it.
You may wonder how someone can know they've lost their mind, and to be honest, I don't have an answer, but Gigi had an unusual way of thinking, and problem figured it our eventually. When she lost her mind is still a mystery to her, but she doesn't pay much attention to it. Gigi also had a boyfriend, an imaginary boyfriend. Named Stark. Stark was every boy she had ever dreamed of put together, and she though he was amazing, and she thought he was real, she didn't believe he didn't exist.
Everytime Gigi 'talked' to Stark, she begged him to show up in her life someday, to save her, to finally complete her, she didn't care if she was crazy, as far as she was concerned, Stark was real and would someday come to her.
This, for her, turned out to be sooner than she thought.

Gigi lived alone, she always had. Her parents wanted to ship her and her hallucinations off as quickly as they could, as they thought she might become dangerous. This opportunity showed up when a good family friend of Gigi's parents decided to sell their house.
Gigi's parents worked out a deal, packed up Gigi and her belongings, and let her live off on her own at the mere age of sixteen.
Gigi didn't mind though, after all, she thought Stark was always with her, and that she had nothing to fear. And even when she did have something to fear, she trusted Stark to protect her. Gigi had built a barrier of safety around her, which was good in some cases, but bad in others.

I loud pounding on the door rang through the house as Gigi watched TV. She was puzzled, but didn't let it bother her until she realized Stark wasn't with her. Which, he never was, but she thought she could always sense his pressence.
Gigi cautiously stood up, fear creeping into her heart with every step towards the door. When she was about ten feet away from it, the door burst open and a man wearing a mask and holding a gun barged in alone. His red eyes gleamed and the small bits of fur that showed through the black bodysuit he was wearing were ruffled from the wind outside.
All fear left Gigi's heart. The robber in front of her was none other than, in her mind, Stark.
"Stark!" She exclaimed. "I knew you'd come for me! You've finally saved me, Stark."
As she said this, she ran to the robber and threw her arms around his neck.
The robber was so taken aback by Gigi's actions that he dropped the gun, which luckily didn't fire off as it hit the floor.
"I'm-I'm Bordeaux." Bordeaux, the robber, said. It was all he could think to say, this had never happened before.
Bordeaux had never been more confused in his life. He was a robber. A scary, tough, black-and-red robber carrying a gun. He had claws capable of slashing a throat and three powerful tails. His victims were supposed to be terrified, not delighted to see him.
Gigi pulled back, her arms still wrapped tightly around Bordeaux's throat.
"You changed your name, Stark?" She said, a confused. "Well, it doesn't matter, as long as you're here!" She finished, hugging him.
Wait, what? Bordeaux thought. What is this girl's problem and why is she calling me Stark?
Again, Gigi pulled back, but this time she unfolded her arms and took a step back from Bordeaux.
"Aren't you-aren't you glad to see me? Except now...you're real." She whispered, her tone shaky.
That was when Bordeaux realized it. This girl, this little fluff of insanity was absolutely gorgeous. Her chocolate-hued fur shone in the light of the various lamps around Gigi's house, and despite her amber eyes being partially obscuredby her soft golden hair, they bore into Bordeaux's soul as she looked at him. He couldn't rob her, the least he could do was tell her he wasn't Stark.

Softly grabbing Gigi by the wrist, Bordeaux pulled her over to the table in her kitchen.
"Now tell me," He started. "Who is Stark?"
And, despite the fact that Gigi thought Stark was sitting right in front of her, she rambled on about Stark, her imaginary boyfriend, telling Bordeaux about how he protected her, and how she knew he'd show up one day, and how he was sitting right in front of her. None of this made sense to Bordeaux until she mentioned the fact that she wasn't completely sane.
"I'm sorry Miss, but I am not Stark. If I recall, you said you had lost your mind, correct?" Gigi nodded. "Have you ever though...that maybe Stark wasn't real? That you just imagined him?" Sadness, confusion, and realization swept across Gigi's face.
Until now, Gigi had never realized that all the time, she had just been hallucinating that Stark was there, but remembering that she wasn't sane, she knew that Stark hadn't been real, She was crestfallen, and she did all she could think to do at the moment, she started sobbing and buried her face in Bordeaux's shoulder.

Yes, Bordeaux had been expecting a reaction along the lines of crying, but crying on his shoulder? He had not expected this.
Cautiously reaching up one paw, and being careful not to injure her with his claws, he patted her on the back.
"It's okay...what's your name, Miss, anyways?" Through her sobs he heard a muffled 'Gigi'.
"It's alright...Gigi. I'm sure there are other guys like Stark in the world." Bordeaux had always failed at being sympathetic, but he made an effort to console her. Gigi pulled back, her eyes sparkling with tears and hope.
"Like you?" She asked. After what had all just happened, Bordeaux wasn't expecting to be surprised again, but, he was wrong.
"Wait-wait, what? You think I'm like Stark?" Gig softly laughed. "Of course, Stark was never the best at consoling me when I cried, but he would've done the same thing you're doing right now." Gigi had stopped crying, and she felt herself nearing the edge of a laughing fit, which usually followed after hysterical crying.

Bordeaux decided that he couldn't just leave her after what had just happened, so he stayed with her and helped her get over her 'loss' of Stark. He slept on the couch everynight, and generally didn't do anything during the day, unless Gigi collasped into more hysterical fits.
Without him even knowing it, Bordeaux was slowly falling in love with Gigi.
And, Gigi was falling in love with Bordeaux. But she knew she was, with her uncanny sense of knowledge.

As it ended up, Bordeaux never left Gigi, and as they grew older, they got married, and had a daughter, Cyrium~
