Really hope we get another round of GUPPS! I would love to see these guys from this year.

Also, GUPPS are always PPS pets from the current year only right? I was assuming that was the deal but we got the GUPPS blue horse a couple days ago and i'm pretty sure he was a 2013 guy.

GUPPS' can come from any year. In 2013 we were given two GUPPS forms of the August PPS from 2012. While it's definitely more common for them to be based off of PPS' from the current year, it's not unheard of for them to come from previous years

To be fair, they HAVE used a lot of their best ideas in past Christmas events. It's hard to come up with new ideas all the time. Still, I love the stocking dogs, it was a cute idea, and I hope they make more in the future, but with different species. (Especially lions and cats.)

I wouldn't even call it running out of ideas on what to do - there's nothing wrong with recycling a concept from a different year again. With the "item based pet" concept there are so, so many possibilities, it'd have been kind of a shame if it had never been brought back. It's a very neat idea and in the past it's given me many of my favourite ever advent pets.

I'm also quite sure that things like the stocking dogs were made with the thought in mind that people would like them - the artists are trying to make people happy with their ideas, and as proven in the past, litters that involve using some of the old/most iconic designs tend to be well received. From the reactions they got, a lot of people seem to adore the stocking dogs because now they can have a festive version of their dreamies and it won't cost them their soul xD

I have to say I find many of the super-old litters rather plain and I don't see why I should pay a ton to get a single one of them. With these stocking designs, they get spiced up and I find them adorable. "Running out of ideas" is something I wouldn't say in this case, it's christmas aesthetics what we have here as well as the traditional christmas stuff like item pets and GUPPS. And the latter two are my favourite about CS christmas.

That dog would be interesting, but I'm not a huge fan of the pps version. Though, I do think the bag would fit better on the adult's head. The bag should be bigger to "fit" the pps line's head. As the bag is now, it's like the snout is cut off from the pup... Which is sad and a little terrifying, tbh. xD


Would love the rest of them though. I was kinda shocked the lion wasn't in there, seeing how lions are usually always well received. But would it be a boy or girl lion? xD I hope a boy.

But, I would LOVE to see more of these lines, though idk if they re-use store lines?

Edit- To specify better though, theres the GUPPses, the stocking dogs, the horsies that were released sorta reminds me of an old litter where they used the horse's spots to make a design and the pets that were made to look like items! It's almost like a big throw back :)

I love the nostalgia that the Advent Calendar brings
I love it when they do something with old designs and the item pets and GUPPS are always what I look forward to most
I mean I am a nostalgic person in general... just yesterday I complained to my dad that our christmas tree doesn't look like it used to XD
And especially for GUPPS, item pets and so on... there is so many possibilities
Just pointing at the GUPPS cat we got... I wasn't expecting tentacles on that one
Or, I mean, the quiver dog... I honestly wouldn't have thought about making exactly THAT piece of the set into a dog
Or the galaxy dress lion... the magic staff butterflywolf

Now I really want a dog based off the cupid wolf XD

or one based on a tennis ball (or a tennis ball hamster)

Or horses and ponies with the colors of the horse blankets

And I also want a balloon dog
