I've got a link to the site FAQ in my signature but basically it's another advent box but instead of normal advent pets you have a chance to get most any of the old rare/VR pets on the site as well as some special pets called "unreleased" or "UR" pets that only come from this box. Store pets won't be rereleased but basically anything from 2008 to recent years that's rare or higher will. :)
Have a good day y'all.

Gather round children! I wish to tell you the tale of Snowy the coal stained Samoyed!

*clears throat and opens a big dusty book amidst the clamoring children*

Once upon a time in in the deep frozen north there was a plain white samoyed named Snowy! Her fur was the whitest in the land! She was sometimes nicknamed "Invisible" as she could easily hide in the great snowly landscape. Once she was old enough, she became a sled dog and delivered supplies between two small towns. But it wasn't as glamorous as it sounds.

*a kid raises his hand and asks how she felt pulling the sled*

Yes it was absolutely DREADFUL! She was very bored delivering the same dull brown packages each and every day! While she had plenty of rest and days off, there was little to keep her spirits raised. Snowy only did it to help her human family afford food and shelter as they were quite poor. Still.. She longed for something else. Something more... fun...

Well she would soon get her wish. On her first December, she noticed something different about those dull colored packages. One of them was a shiny present! The golden foil wrapping glistened in the clear crisp morning sun! She had never seen such a thing before and was eager to find out! But her master told her not to touch it! After being strapped to the sled once again, she ran off to do her daily route. But this beautiful package was on her mind the whole trip.

The way back was even more intriguing! Now amongst the paper parcels were two presents! One green with yellow stripes and another with white and blue stripes. They both had fancy bows and a tag on each one! She once again pondered the meaning of such packages as she finished her trip home.

This happened more and more each day until every delivery was full of gifts! And Snowys reaction to this change was nothing short of wonder! It was on her first Christmas Day that she realized what all these fancy gifts were about as she saw her own human family trade and open up their own presents! She even got one of her own! It was a rope with the fresh smell of bacon!

Her curiosity satisfied, she went out on her day off to see what others had been given on this day. Around town the kids had all manner of toys and games. Some played baseball with their new mits and bats. Others played with their dolls and playhouses! But in all this exitement, there was a sudden, less pleasant change...

One girl who was particularly well dressed began to humiliate the other children!
"Look at that old doll! What a terrible gift!"
"And that tennis racket! It has a hole bigger than the ball! What dumb person would give that!"
"And that sleigh should have been firewood years ago!..."
Her words sent some children crying home. But others were angry! One boy stood up and yelled, "Hey! Have a heart will ya! You try giving your kids something when you are pennyless!.."

But the rich girl didn't care. She continued to mock their gifts while she drove around in her kid sized car with a real working engine.
"A replica Model T! With a real red velvet interior! My dad, the mayor knows how to treat me good!... Unlike your parents..."

The samoyed was furious! How could such a person be so mean! Snowy now wished she could take that car and give it to the other kids. But she couldn't...

On her walk home, her mind was full of thoughts. Thoughts of how to help those that had little. Thoughts of how to brighten those that the little girl wronged. And how to do it...

But work and family needs soon distracted her. Days turned to weeks. Then months. And soon it was once again the beginning of winter. On one early winter day, she noticed what she had never paid no mind to before. It was a big towering mansion. And what she saw in a big pile nearby made her completely freeze in her tracks! It was the rich girls Model T! But it was laying on its side. And yet was completely intact... This was amongst other lavish toys just thrown away!

Alone with her delivery.. She sat there deep in thought... Then... it came to her! She could take these discarded gifts to those poor children! They were still good. Albeit a little weathered. Snowy decided to finish her route and devise a plan to getting those gifts swapped.

Soon the presents began riding her sleigh once more. And each time, she carefully opened each gift, dusted off the snow and dirt from the toy pile, and placed it in the box. Her exitement grew with each trip as she knew what was coming! She was fortunate in that every present for the poor children were simple to open and reassemble!

On Christmas Eve, she had one more delivery before retiring for the night. It was a big package and very fancy too! When her master told her the address, she paused for a second... This was for the rich girl... A sly smile crept up onto her face! She knew she had to swap this one for something.... Special.... But what?

Along the way, Snowy noticed a coal factory. She never liked coal much as she knew it was dirty. But as she thought more and more, her sled kept going slower and slower... She came to a stop next to a pile of coal. Her mischievous grin stretched from ear to ear as she took a peek in that big box.

Inside was a stuffed polar bear as white as she was! But not for long..... Quickly she began shoveling black soot and coal into the box! It was quite difficult with her paws and made her nearly black! She hastily wiped her coal soaked fur in the snow to make the schedule. But she couldn't quite get it all. She panicked for a second but had no choice. She had to deliver the box!

As she hauled the now much heavier box, her heart raced with each bound. "I am sooo gonna get it when I get home!" she muttered to herself. As she made her last stop, she was petrified! But the men were in such a hurry, they didn't notice her half coal colored fur! Quickly she raced home and had forgotten her own master... Til she got there....

..."why are you covered in coal?!" Asked her owner. But she kept quiet. "Nothing better have happened to those deliveries or we are in trouble!" She smiled innocently as her pulse raced. He unhitched her and gave her a bath in the house before they slept for the night.

On Christmas Day, the whole town eurupted with cheers of joy from every household! Kids ran out with their newer used toys! And among the happy children was one in tears. It was the mayors daughter with her pink dress covered in coal! The other kids laughed and teased her as the samoged watched. But something was wrong.. She didn't want to hurt her like this!

She ran between them and barked at the others befor facing the girl. Snowy then kissed her on the cheek as she whined apologetically. The crowd of children grew silent. Then Snowy knew she had to right things. So she began tugging her dress as she beconed her to come along. A short trip to Snowys house and her sled pulled out from the shed, she guided the girl onto the sleigh. "WAIT!" uttered the girl as she went for the harnass on the wall. "You can't pull me without this!"

"And my name is Amy!"

Strapped and ready to go, they were soon prancing about the town with all the kids in tow. It was quite a sight to see! Everyone was happy! Amy was happy! And Snowy was happy too! Then Amy stopped the sleigh and announced to all the children.

"Guys.. I am sorry for being so mean.. And if you liked my old toys this much, wait til next year!" The kids responded with a large cheer.
Then Amy turned to Snowy and whispered, "It was you who swapped the gifts wasnt it?"

Snowy looked at her with embarassment.

"Its ok! I think what you did was wonderful!" and with that, Amy hugged the Snowy as the kids celebrated around them!

And since that day, Snowy became the coal stained husky who would deliver great gifts to those in need or lumps of coal to those that greed!

The end~

Why do you say that? GUPPSes have been a tradition for years, if that's what you're referring to.

Oh yeah, that and a lot of pets just look very similar to old designs. I don't mean it negatively <3

Edit- To specify better though, theres the GUPPses, the stocking dogs, the horsies that were released sorta reminds me of an old litter where they used the horse's spots to make a design and the pets that were made to look like items! It's almost like a big throw back :)

To be fair, they HAVE used a lot of their best ideas in past Christmas events. It's hard to come up with new ideas all the time. Still, I love the stocking dogs, it was a cute idea, and I hope they make more in the future, but with different species. (Especially lions and cats.)
