Do you think if we arrive earlier to get pets on the 18th, we'll get better pets?

Or could I get a super rare pet even an hour before it ends?

Unfortunately, no. It's all completely random. There is no way to improve your chances; you just have to get lucky.

The box is 100% TOTALLY random - you could get anything at any point - adopting all at once or individually doesn't make any difference either. It's completely up to the random generator the box is running on!
I like to adopt earlier so I don't have to wait in agony for my outcomes to grow once I start seeing others' pets grow up lol. And I like the adopt them all at once so they can (usually) get consecutive IDs and then I can trace back which pets I got - as long as I hold onto at least one of them lol.

Pets AND items - that was a surprise! I LOVE the green and red candy cane/zebra deer though - it's so pretty!!

I believe it's completely randomized. The only thing that's certain is that you're getting 3 pets with a rarity of rare or above.

Actually, we don't know if they'll be guaranteed to be rare+. It was true last year, but not in years before that.

Actually, we don't know if they'll be guaranteed to be rare+. It was true last year, but not in years before that.

If you check the recently updated FAQ (linked in my signature!) it sounds like the rare+ will be a guarantee from here on out! :)
