And they trade to the extra accounts? That's pretty greedy if you ask me. But how do they get special release pets in December 18th?

I got one of those alternate lineart butterfly wolves; that pretty Christmas one. Can't share the image because I'm on mobile but I'm so happy with it because I love that lineart. I was there at the opening but didn't even wait for rares because it popped up on the first page x3

Each year on December 18th you click on the Christmas event page and there is a present that says adopt me. That one box is where you can get 3 rares. They can range from 2009 rares to 2015 rares and sometimes if your lucky, you can get list pets! It is the only time where you can get free list pets beside the pound.

Actually, last year the newest pets in the re-release were from... 2013? I think? On top of my head I don't remember ID-ing any '14 or younger ones.
Last year was IIRC also the first year where the pets from the re-release box were guaranteed to be rare. This didn't use to be the case in the past.
Edit: Didn't catch this one when I responded, but the re-released pets can be from 2008 as well, starting with the July pets.
