I never know what store pets are worth, especially since these ones don't have their rarities yet.
And if it is fair, would it still be fair if I swapped out the store pet for a different (VR) store pet that's on my WL?

if i'm correct, that's unfair to their side. the pets on your side only add up to about a mid '13 rare, whereas the store pet on their side is worth a '10 rare.

It doesn't really matter what rarity a store pet gets if you're not swapping it for another pet of it's set.
All 2016 store pets are worth a late 2010 rare while your side only adds up to a 2013 rare.
