Yeah, I hear where you're coming from. The lines aren't as soft/light as her's usually are so I was hesitant when the fox first came out to suggest it was Lilian's. o: It's possible her style has just changed, or that she wanted to try something a bit different this time, but it still doesn't look quite right as it stands.

I look in Lilian's posts and see this! Possible confirmation that it's a maned wolf, if it was her, although I don't see how that ties into Japanese folklore. Unless it's a cross with some Japanese creature?

Hmmm, that is strange. :/ I don't really know what that could mean then? It IS possible that Lilian's really hasn't grown yet and will be one of the last three and we're just on a wild goose chase right now, lol...

The maned wolf is often mistake for a fox. Foxes have heavy ties in japanese folklore, and there is one japanese story were a fox trick a wolf into scaring a village before the wolf puff its fur (mainly its mane) to look bigger and the villagers were wolf maskes to scare off the fox.

I feel like this:

Image

Is DoctorDraca's.

It's just a hunch I got after looking through their gallery (Mostly after seeing this work of art), so it probably doesnt mean anything, but hey.

Also the hint: "not the same, yet so familiar" may refernce to some of their previous staff pets or possibly a slight style change??

Again, this all just came to me right now, so this may mean nothing haha.

Yes, this exactly. I trust there'll be a growth tonight that will make us all go "LILLIAN!". If not, maybe it's a sneaky little inconspicuous pup that will be clearly hers in its adult stage.

Could DoctorDraca's be the spa day pup?
going from the 'not the same but so familiar' hint possibly?

My only thought is because a few of the other staffs they've done
have glowing / extra parts that sit off the actual outline of the pup.

yellow on the spa day pup

      ImageImage
the blue electric parts on this one

      ImageImage
then the grey / white tail on this one?

Yeah, it's only one hour left until rollover so here's hoping that once they grow we can get a better idea for which one is hers. o: Right now I don't think it could be anything besides the blanket fox, because none of them are edited enough and Lilian likes to do major edits. o3o

edit: one hour, my bad, lol

Compared to the fox, the style is nothing alike. Let's wait about an hour to decide.

OH
Okay, this makes sense. So it could be her. Still doesn't look quite right, though.

She/Her

I'm a proud freak with a bizarre obsession with Alexander Hamilton and anger at the incredibly inaccurate musical.

I'm still sending PMs and I'm trying to get pets from quitting users before they lose interest so the pets go back into the economy. I haven't quit per se, just changed motivation.
That means if you want my pets you can have them, if you need to get rid of stuff fast, I'll give them out, and if you need a friend I'm happy with random PMs. :)

Anyone care to share their thoughts?? I only got this hunch after seeing a few sketchy-like pets in Doctor Draca's gallery

I want to go with the theory that this is Solarizing's, as I've seen quite a few people who recognized her style in this almost right away. Then again I have no idea on styles and what not so you may very well be right too.

I'm not sure, it's a possibility but I don't really see the similarities in terms of art style. Draca's style is usually very clean, so I don't think such a dramatic switch would be something they would do? I'm still thinking Solarizing for the sketchy pup, personally. o:

You're right, I just looked at Solarizing's gallery and the style seems very similar. Guess we will just have to wait and see!

No Atwood said the final form would use floppy ears as a base and not that the dog was floppy eared. She made a post about it a few pages back since we were all hung on the flopy eared bit. So the pup can certainly have straight ears at first as its not the final stage!
