Nevermind the ask for a hint! I may be onto something! Pluma, is your pup the green necklace pup "Frey"? To tie items: He is God of rain and sun, lightening item and sun item. And also a God of crop fertility which may be related to the leaves. And as a semi guess... The pup item is his golden boar? I mean the boat isn't a puppy but maybe if you squint and really love pigs...

I have a feeling it's the fox pup for Atwood - I don't know why but looking
at older pets of theirs I just think it might be x.x probably completely wrong



and only thinking this one because of the colouring style on this older staff

I personally have a hunch that the fox one is Lillians... I don't know why though haha.

Ooo true, at the moment i'm torn between Atwood and Lillian on the fox,
today i'm more towards Atwood - tomorrow i'll be back towards Lillian
just because of the colouring styles in their older staff pets x.x

I think I know who the owl pup belongs to!!!
I knew that I recognized it when I looked at it, something about it was familiar. The coloring, the shading, something was reminding me of something else I'd seen, and recently too. This months pony!!
And the evidence doesn't stop there either!

Saikiyo designed this months ponies, and they gave us two hints to their staff pup.

- My dog is orange : The owl is obviously quite orange.
- My dog may be a chicken, or perhaps that was another litter I made... : Some people probably wrote this off as a joke, but it's not a CHICKEN but another bird, an OWL!

That actually makes a lot of sense!

Thor, Frey, and Athena have also been guessed, as well as probably some others I don't remember.

Gaea and Rán were guessed. But I believe the pup is named after it and Gaea was denied. That leaves Frey, Athena and Rán.
Edit: However "Athena" is the owl pup. Frey is the green necklace pup and Rán is the storm pup. I believe Rán and Frey seem most fitting...

She also said that one of the thunder/lightning related ones posted here was nearly correct, which before Ran was guessed, I think.

The posts before she said that (back at page 418 as according to Pande28, see above link) had guessed at Thor, Hephaestus, Zeus and "the pup's eye color".
I suppose if the connection is Zeus, however, then it could be Athena as they are related?

That actually makes a lot of sense!

I knew there was something about it that reminded me of Saikiyo!
(Hold on, let me back up my facts I think I'm wrong)

Edit:Alright, I was right on the part I wanted to say. Saikiyo also made an owl cat litter, which could be what the 'or perhaps that was another litter I made' part could mean!

Isn't a kitsune a japanese folklore fox

Kitsune (狐, キツネ?, IPA: [kitsu͍ne]) is the Japanese word for fox.
Foxes are a common subject of Japanese folklore; in English, kitsune refers to them in this context.
