How do you 'accidentally' scam someone?

my one of my favorite colors is a fresh green (yes my name is yellow paint, my sig has a brief explanation why but i can explain more if you want) and i decided to make a small hoard of the cats but end it when they got their rarities since I always get bored of hoards, someone had like twelve and they traded me all of them for a swap, then the pps lion grew

keep in mind only one grew of that and i had two that grew from my own cats

Not joining the hype train technically includes also not accepting overpay, because that only feeds into the craze and makes people want more and more. It's a vicious cycle, and I'm pretty sure almost everyone who has paid so much for the lion is regretting it now - haven't seen a single person still standing by their overpay. The only people glad are those who were on the receiving end of the overpay.

I knew that this would happen, and I got one of the pps lions from the litter. I knew that I could probably get a lot for it if I auctioned it, but I didn't want to be the cause of someone deeply regretting a trade if it turned out to be an uncommon.

However, part of the game is occasionally making a gamble if you really want a pet and you aren't sure what the rarity is. So I traded it to someone with a 2012 rare from my wishlist, and I don't feel at all bad about it.

I still ended up overpaying for the little guy but tbh *I don't care*. I have it in my pet groups, the thing I traded was an extra/something I didn't want.

Completely worth it, 100% absolutely.
