I really hope they release the rarities soon so I can win the bet with my friend.
(I betted that the PPS lion will be an uncommon)

Well the last time they released a PPS Lion in august with the other cat line art, the cat became a VR. That was in 2012.


I'm not saying this one will be that rare because it could have been released more, who knows. All I know is its adorable!

That PPS was a looooot rarer though.
Nearly everybody missed it.

This time, nearly everybody got it and a many missed it - that's usually a sign for uncommons.

I've seen multiple people with 2 or 3 of these ones. I highly doubt they will be very rare. I bet uncommon and /maybe/ rare. But if it is rare, I don't think it'd be by much.

It's not as bad as it was (I think someone once managed a tier 4 advent for one?), but I still see some fetching '09 rares each, sometimes multiple, in auctions.

For times this has happened in the past, did the demand drop off suddenly once the rarities came out, or did it continue to be a gradual process?

I guess it mostly depends on if people are still willing to pay rares for an uncommon (assuming that's what it turns out to be). I don't want to do that, much as I want this cub in my pet groups, so I'm waiting it out--probably until October at this rate, but I very much hope we get rarities before Halloween.

Honestly, in the past I have overpaid for pets I want just so I have them *now*, but I don't have the pets to compete with the market this time around, haha. So I really don't know how long the hype lasts before it starts dying down.

So I don't really know why I started a topic about this,
but basically, as many others, I have been a victim of overpaying huge for the 16' August PPS lion.
I thought it was be nice to start a topic about all this, so we can discuss it.

It was a huge disappointment for me, when I realized it was nothing but an uncommon.
So here, any others who had this problem, or those who would just like to talk about it,
though, the cub may not be as rare as it was before it gained it's rarity,
I still say it's quite a cute pet.

The reason to why people thought it was going to be so rare,
is because they usually have these lions that they release in cat litters,
and all of them usually become very rare.

Though I am very sorry if you were one of the few like me,
that unfortunately overpaid a ton.
