I know the feels. I'm hoarding the entire litter and am only at 15/120, so this'll be fun!

I just realised how many pets I'm hoarding from the start of January this year. I didn't realise because they're for different hoards, but I'm hoarding 14 different pets for 4 hoards.

I'm seriously thinking about just dropping my collection and focus only on my hoards...
I mean, let's be realistic - with me refusing to overpay for certain pets, I won't be able to ever get them on the current market. No need to keep frustrating myself, right?

I actually did this earlier this year after months debating it. I found myself looking more for hoard pets than other non-hoard pets on my wishlist when searching through trade groups. I kept a few sentimental favourites that I couldn't bear to part with but almost everything else went into my trade groups.

At the moment my only non-hoard goals are to get a full zodiac set, a full 2009 staff pet set, and a full list collection. The last one seems highly unlikely to ever be finished however, because everyone expects ridiculously high prices for their lists. Plus I can never seem to fetch my list pets' worth when trading them.

I actually am so into hoarding now that I have started an Advent List hoard: currently at 6/20 Brown Cookie Advents!

Just do what makes you happy. I like my new goals, and though trading is still stressful, it doesn't make me want to pull my hair out quite as much. Plus, if you disband your collections, you will have a ton more fodder for all your hoards!

Attempting to pick up where I left off on my Counting Stars hoard. My original goal was 20, but I had stopped after 11. Now I'm trying for 15 so that it matches my Twizzlepoot hoard.

I am so close to 1000 now on my synth hoard. They're getting somewhat harder to come by, but it will be great when I finally get there. Not long now, I hope

I'm glad I came here today. I was pondering the same move, switching from trying to collect to working on specific goals and specific hoards. You have both given me something to really think about.
