Okay! Thanks all for answering <3 I was just curious; my typical method is to hoard around 20 of each outcome, which has led to some hoards being up to 100 strong X3 But for uncommon+ or popular litters, I tend to do 10 or even just five of each if they're difficult to obtain.

And congrats! Yeah, getting a hoard done quickly does feel rather nice ^.^ My Xtreme Pomf hoard is only two away from being complete, and I just started it this month X3 Granted, the pets are from 2015, but still ^.^;

... and I finished my last monthly hoard, before the month is over. For some reason that always makes me happier. I know that the pets are likely easier to get once the month is over & rarities are out , but I feel more ... accomplished(?) Getting them done earlier. I dunno, I'm just weird.

Usually I feel it's more practical to get the pets before the rarities are out because I mostly trade commons for them. So if any of them turn out to be uncommons, well then I got it for an underpay c:

but that also goes the other way, so if it was very common and I payed a common I would've overpayed

Hoarding is so hard in some days... like now in last week... members absolutely ignor trades which i send them... even when I ask just for commons and offering back uncommons/overpay.
For example... i send cca about 50 trades and get reply on cca 10 max. God... guys... I don't care if you cancel it but at least reply! Then i will can use pets which i offer you in another trade offers. -.-
This made me really mad sometimes... mainly when you see that member daily active.
Do you have same problem in hoarding?

Yep, I send a bunch of trades, and as you said, few of them are answered while the rest of them remain unanswered. Every once in a while I cancel old trades cause I don't like having them piling up.
As a hoarder I guess I send out quite a lot of trades? And same with me, I only ask for commons and below mostly, so it gets annoying when people don't answer (espECIALLy when I know the member is active daily).
But you know, it's easy to miss a trade you've been sent if you think 'I'll take a look at this later.' I know I've done the same mistake before c:

I try to ask for one pet now, or two. Hoarding has become much more difficult than it has been lately. I don't really even know why. It just seems more ridiculous. I do do the "I'll come back later." Mainly because I work so often now that I don't have time to look at my trades on break, but I don't let them sit there and if I do I usually just PM the person. I have to agree with both of you, it gets irritating and a little bit upsetting. I mean, lately it seems to have gotten much worse. I stopped looking amongst the community a bit because of it, but I suppose it's the challenges of being a hoarder or just trading in general!

I feel like sometimes it's like it'll just go away if it sits there for weeks and months.

What pet are you hoping to see this Easter and possibly hoard?

*when you're not 100% committed to simply disbanding your remaining rare+ collection, so you just toss a few of them into your trade group, but you DID demolish your entire uncommon collection*

I have so much more fodder now...I'm so tempted to just keep the few rare+ pets in my collection that I have sentimental ties to and trade the rest but it's so hard. I worked ridiculously hard to gather each and every one of those so my brain keeps refusing to do so. For some reason getting rid of my entire uncommon collection was a lot easier for me.

@Lufik[-E-R-]: I feel your pain, but I also know that sometimes I may get online each day but I just check for new accepted trades and sort those pets into my hoards. Sometimes people just don't have time to do more in-depth trades because of real life stuff and can only be on for a few minutes at a time, even if they are on each day. Hopefully they'll reply soon, even if it takes a little longer.

But I agree with your statement in general. It is super frustrating to send out 50+ trades and only get a few answers back and it happens to me all the time. Especially in the last few months; hoard trading has become ridiculously difficult and my progress has slowed to a crawl on EVERY SINGLE HOARD I HAVE. Ridiculously disheartening but eh, you just have to keep trying and hope for the best. Some replies to trades are better than none! I just end up deleting the old trades after 5 or so days if there's no response to free up my fodder again.

So like, I just got 38 of these BWs for my hoard. My original goal was 20 of them, but I gained a lot more of them from an auction bid. I now have 51 of them, so I guess I'll just go for 60 of them.
