so many updates to share!


1. The Butterfly Project. I don't know of any of you have ever heard of it but The Butterfly Project is a technique used by people who self-harm, in which they draw a butterfly on the body part usually used to self-harm and name it after a loved one. the rule is to let the butterfly fade away naturally and to not scrub it off or damage it/yourself in any way while it's there. it's something that means a lot to me so I started this hoard about 6 months ago and just hit 43 butterflies.






2. I am the Shadow on the Moon at Night. recently completed this hoard inspired by the nightmare before christmas, and just in time for halloween!





3. ☼ Let the sun shine in ☼. finally managed to pick up another gold pps for this collection, so I'll get to have fun decorating her <3





4. German Shepherd Rescue Center. this collection originally started out as just the two 09 german shepherds but I recently added the upside down puppy and the fennec fox pps because why not?





and lastly 5. this collection doesn't have an official name yet because I just decided I wanted to try and collect them a couple days ago when I got one of them from the pound and was inspired. I love the planet litter, especially the ringed pups, and I think the colors of these two look beautiful together

You couls also add the 2009 or 2010 horse which has a german sherphard design

I hoarded some of the litter of your second hoard because I also thought it was dope. Just a small little hoard though.

And your third hoard is beautiful! That's a really neat unique hoard. I love the dressups you do in it. ^_^

So I started ten new hoards in the last couple days. Whoops.

1.
This one called Valley of the Dolls after a song. X3 I was wanting to hoard this one for a while and don't know why I haven't before.



2. This is four hoards in one really. I'm hoarding 2o of each outcome. The first outcome I finished the hoard already thanks to LOLO.




3. I wanted to hoard this one when it came out, but then was like 'nah, maybe later if I still have the urge.' Well months later I still had the urge.




4. Same story with this one, though I haven't been able to think up a name for it yet. =U




5. I have been OBSESSED with galaxy for a while, and after going through the pets made this year I had to hoard this baby. Not to mention purple is my favorite color.




6. Not much explanation for this one needed. It's just cool. And proving very hard to get for me.




7. So far this has been a pound hoard, though I don't think I'll keep it exclusively as one.




Now I had a question for everyone. I've been working on one hoard for a while, and it's somewhat burning me out.

I finally broke 900 in my 9 Lives + 1 hoard!

This hoard got even more special a week ago when my flatmate and I rescued our new kitten, Toby, from the shelter. He's such a loving guy who is huge for five months old and we love him dearly already, and from what we can tell, he loves us too.

I've been considering doing a hoard for miscarriage awareness since it's so little spoken about and it's so hard to deal with when there's so little support available but I'm not sure what pet I'd hoard for it? I'm thinking a pps since they're not grown etc. but I'm not sure which would fit best.

Have you ever had a hoard that while you were in the process of hoarding it, you got burned out? What did you do?

All my hoards are unlimited, so if I get burned out with a hoard I focus on a different one for awhile til I feel like adding to it again.

Maybe a EPPS hoard? Not sure on a specific one, but you could just do a full lineart hoard maybe?

i do think pps and epps (especially epps) would be a good idea
perhaps abortion awareness as well? if this isn't appropriate i'll edit it out <3
speaking of awareness i'm thinking of starting
a hoard to raise awareness for ptsd, but i might
just go with a leukemia hoard (one of my friends/friendly acquaintances
has it - they're doing fine, though ^^)

on a side note i was browsing the archives and decided to make some new hoards - as if i didn't all ready last night!
these will be smaller hoards, i'm just hoarding them because i enjoy their design ^^

these little guys are too cute and i've been eyeing them for a long time. i finally gave into my urge to hoard them!
(they don't have official cat names yet, i believe)

next are these horses from the egypt event. this was my first event on cs and though i was grounded at the time i have some pretty fond memories. i almost hoarded the cows as well but considering they're rare i decided i'd better leave my fodder for the next hoard:


unnamed - goal: 20 (5 each outcome) - store corgis/storgis
these guys. are. amazing. i have never wanted to hoard a pet so much. now i can say i hoard all corgis - the original 2011 'dire' corgis and the fennec fox corgis as well. my corgi hoards are my main focus and a shrine to my dog

i'm curious - what's the best way to make a quantity auction? i have a bunch of large(ish) hoards i've completely lost connection with and want to get rid of them. i'll probably look for someone who's searching for these guys and give the pets to them though - again, just curious ^^[/size]

Super excited Halloween is coming up.
oddly it is one of the few holidays I rarely hoard pets from however ... maybe this year will change.
