I just hit 800 on my staff pet hoard!

Congrats! That's quite an achievement! Are you hoarding all staff pets or just this year's ones?

Its all staff pets. As I hoard too, I'm trying to complete all the years' sets too. 2015 - 2012 sets are complete. 2016: still growing | 2011: 10/18 | 2010: 1/13 | 2009: 3/11

After trying to get some of the tess dog newborns because I thought
they might look like my dog I don't see anymore, after the first
newborn growth they are starting to look exactly like her! I'm so
glad this hoard worked and so i'm thinking of making it unlimited
- even if they are now getting really impossible to trade for x.x

So I decided about a month ago I was going to start a new project. I am going to start a hoard of 20 of the rat below. Sounds easy enough, right? Except, I am only going to collect them from.the pound! I have only gotten the one so far... so this may take forevet, if it's even possible...



Does anyone else have a hoard like this or am I the only weird one?

This is also technically how I started hoarding grey Jan '09 2nd gens. At one time I had a hoard of well over 4 hundred of them. Probably 90% from the pound.

Went on a self destructive purging spree a few years back and gave most of my extra pets, including that hoard away. Now that I've started collecting them again they're rarely in the Pound. How times have changed from the days when the Pound was nothing but ten pages of grey 2nd gens and warrior cats left after all the good stuff had been picked out...

So I wasn't going to hoard any of the staff pets this time around ...
but that means of course I already have 4 hoards :p


I absolutely adore maned wolves, so this one was a must.


I really like the simplicity/innocence of this guy/gal


I Love magic. I have always loved magic, and this pet just seems magical/whimsical


I know this is likely meant to be more mythological based ... but the head reminds me a lot of the old golden statues that were worshiped as idols .. and idol worship has always fascinated me, so I need to hoard these as well.

so many updates to share!


1. The Butterfly Project. I don't know of any of you have ever heard of it but The Butterfly Project is a technique used by people who self-harm, in which they draw a butterfly on the body part usually used to self-harm and name it after a loved one. the rule is to let the butterfly fade away naturally and to not scrub it off or damage it/yourself in any way while it's there. it's something that means a lot to me so I started this hoard about 6 months ago and just hit 43 butterflies.






2. I am the Shadow on the Moon at Night. recently completed this hoard inspired by the nightmare before christmas, and just in time for halloween!





3. ☼ Let the sun shine in ☼. finally managed to pick up another gold pps for this collection, so I'll get to have fun decorating her <3





4. German Shepherd Rescue Center. this collection originally started out as just the two 09 german shepherds but I recently added the upside down puppy and the fennec fox pps because why not?





and lastly 5. this collection doesn't have an official name yet because I just decided I wanted to try and collect them a couple days ago when I got one of them from the pound and was inspired. I love the planet litter, especially the ringed pups, and I think the colors of these two look beautiful together

For a more generalized hoard I picked Butterfly Wolves, since I already have a serious addiction to them anyway. > .>

But I feel like I should start two or three specialized hoards, and see where that takes me? I know for sure I want to collect these, because I love the art for them:




But man, those warriors/sitting cats would be awesome too. Too many choices. xD

i honestly think the hardest one will be the
kintsukoroi china hoard - that pps is going
to be a pain. on the other hand i'm pretty
excited to finish these up
