Hoard Discussion Thread v.5

So I decided about a month ago I was going to start a new project. I am going to start a hoard of 20 of the rat below. Sounds easy enough, right? Except, I am only going to collect them from.the pound! I have only gotten the one so far... so this may take forevet, if it's even possible...

Does anyone else have a hoard like this or am I the only weird one?

We've discussed pound-only hoards a few days/weeks (I don't even know anymore) now, there are several here who do that too!

I myself haven't found a pet yet which I want to pound-hoard.

Oh man...I don't know if I'd have the patience to do that. I got one of my new hoardies from the pound, but phew....to think how long that would take. ^^"

Same here my angels and demons hoard is growing quite a bit from this

➸ Gosh I would absolutely not have the patience for a pound hoard tbh. I have the absolute worst luck with the pound, haha.
I see myself giving up on that super quick. Maybe someday I'll give it a try though.

I have to say though, as happy as I am for the tons of cows I've been getting, I'm really not looking forward to putting them into
the right group and then renaming them all. Calling all my cows Edgar is easy enough, but numbering them in roman numerals is another.

I started two new hoards today though! One for "toxic" looking pets.



My goal is 51--kind of a reference to Area 51. c:

The second one is for pets whose designs resembled angels and demons.



If I feel like going through the trouble, I may actually try hoarding 333 "demons" and "angels" and
then add them into one group but idk if I have that kind of dedication in me.

If it is a pet woth low demand it can go pretty fast actually. The chance that you can adopt 2 a day is pretty big.

I cant have a pound hoard, i keep snagging cats from the pound xD
I got over 1000 cats in 4 days with just trading, before lolo started xD

I've slowed down in my hoard collecting these past few days. The store pets really took a lot out of me, so I'm trying to keep things simple from now until the Halloween Event starts. Need to stock up on fodder.

To that end, I was wondering if I should auction off the Pink Sorbet I recently acquired? Should I try to swap it for a true-date/true-date of another color? If I auction it I could get a TON of wishlist pets (not to mention hoardies) but then I'd lose out on my chance to swap it...what do you all think? Would a quantity hoard auction even be worth it or would I just be better off doing a normal auction?

Its when people go to each others houses (pm them with a story about your trick or treater ends w/ Trick or Treat/knocking on door) The user who got the pm decides to give you a treat(pet, but some do art treats) or trick (nothing)
