How many mixed '09 rares does an '08 rare/ very rare equal?

'08 rare (generally) = 1 '09 rare + '09 uncommon (or a '10 rare if it has good demand)
'08 vr (generally) = 2 '09 rares + '10 rare

This is just a base tho since worth fluctuates with demand, species, etc.

I value the raven at a balloon-green toxic roughly. But some value it more. Some value it even more than a sorb. So it depends on who you find. Likely you will have to pay some sort of mainlist pet that doesn't have bad demand

wonderful. Its so difficult when i have crappy demand pets. I need help trading up but nobody wants too so its seriously extremely difficult to even trade anything.

List trading is hard, and generally it gets more difficult the higher up the list you go. If you really want a fair trade, you might have to wait a while. That could be anywhere from weeks to months+ (maybe years if you have the patience for it).
You could always trade down the cat for pets with demand, and then work your way back up again
Tho it's like trouble said, for the Raven you'll most likely need to trade some kind of mainlist

That's ignoring majority of the quantity (tho the reindeer plush is worth an '09 rare if I'm not mistaken). I don't know what some of the items are worth, so I suggest getting another op
