I know the value of the store pet is mid 2010 rare, I want to make sure this is okay still however.

Personally, I'd feel that rarity wise, you are overpaying quite a bit. Just one or two of your robot cats would be enough, rarity wise, but demand wise, it may be unfair to the elemental Malk cat, as they tend to have high demands. Maybe get a second or third opinion?
