Berkshire has a soft colouring style, she said she spent a fair amount of time designing her pup so I'd say it's one of these:

The others look either too sharply coloured or too plain to be as complex as the final result. None of them seem to be aquatic animals, however, Pluma stated she based all of her staff pets on animals so maybe Berkshire has based this one on an animal too. The first three qualify for that hint. The last one has way too much orange on it and it was said it has "some amount of orange on it", which makes me think it must not be that much and therefore that can't be the pup. They all have line edits.

Some posted this a while ago:
1 Kings 22:11 Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron, and said, "Thus says Yahweh,'With these you shall push the Syrians, until they are consumed.'"
Maybe the 2nd Gen clue on Berkshire's signature refers to Zedekiah, who gave Chenaanah the horns of iron that might grown when he becomes an adult. Apparently Chenaanah means merchant, but that's not the meaning we're looking for according to the hints. I feel like the only pet that could grow horns is the one with hooves (Pluma's pet also has hooves!), reason why I'm not inclined for the egg. For this reason I would also eliminate the third option for sure and possibly the first. Leaving us with the hooved pup for Berkshire!

Aside from the pictures that need to be updated on the Staff Litter 2015 doc, and hints/confirmations, etc. that need to be added? I also need page numbers to it. I am one of the editors, so I can add the hints to the chart.

Hmm, I don't know. It sort of reminds me of a sea slug. The wavyness at the bottom of the blanket, & just the bright colors.

Yeah, I see what you meant now. But, then there's that small part that is sticking out, that does look like a hoof. So I agree with Snowfall, maybe it has 6 legs?

I think this cutie belongs to Lacuna. She has that hipster look, with the funky fringed hair and the hair in the tail is pulled up. The coloring even has the sporadic hipster vibe.

If these are hooves and the back is that long ... it might be centaur.
