I must say, that i am very much in love with this pet. maybe because the base isn't blue like most of the pets, but it's a red-orange colour. The tail reminds me of fire, and the little dots on the pet kind of remind me of rocks/coal. The jingle bells on it's tail are so beautiful. Also the tiny spots on the ears and the hints of reddish blues in the ear as well ties it all together. Well done to whoever made this pet <3
edit: and the slight size difference is SO wonderful.

They're both in on something. I'm still betting they both have the same idea for a design.

Okay, this could be completely wrong and I'm misinterpreting/pulling things together in hopes of a theory, but I think I know which hints misneach was talking about us missing, and I'm going to throw it out there that her pup is a dragon.

First thing is this. This could be just a harmless message, but the following ones are what led me to believe the dragon theory~

The palette was super cool this year! I'm sure you'll think the designs coming out are HAWT! I know I do.

Once again, could be harmless, but the fact that both misneach and Verdana have been saying their hints haven't been discovered (#twinning, finishing each other's sentences etc) links to the fact that misneach said the designs are hawt, which could also mean Verdana's is a dragon, as well as the twinning aspect~

i cannot wait for mine to be all adult and stuff (remember some time within the next two months ;D), so you can all enjoy it with me! i am rather proud of my pet. I hope it's the good kind of oddball!

Oddball suggests a peculiar design and maybe line edits, which would fit nicely with the idea of a dragon c:

Not to forget is misneach's lil hidden message in her signature, which says 'suffers from wanderlust'. A dragon flies and travels a lot, could be a wingless dragon..? Idek

I'm also going to include Verdana in this, as I feel that the two pets are closely linked because of what has been said by both Verdana and misneach (unless they're both trolling us)

Ohohoho, anyone who liked my pup stage last year is in for a real disappointment this year :'D

What do we have here? A repeated message, of none other than misneach's? Actually, Verdana posted this first, and if you take a look back at misneach's, her post was edited later that same day? Coincidence? (Probably but for the sake of this theory, let's say it wasn't, and they planned it!)

There's also the comment of her pup stage. The fact that this year's is a disappointment compared to last year's suggests that they are very different. That could be a different theme/animal to the pup stage, or even just a total lack of line edits. It's quite vague, but does say there's a difference between the two! If anything, it suggests that the pup stage could be very plain looking, and change greatly when it's fully grown!

What can I say? There's clearly a pattern there. I like the use of 'oddball' too. Sums me up quite well, doesn't it Pan? I hope it's the good kind of oddball.

More similar messages! This time, they both use the word oddball, and have the exact same sentence, too. As well as this, Verdana says there is, indeed, a pattern of her previous staff pets, and as she doesn't deny furthering her staff dog trend, we can assume she will continue it on.

Her previous staff dogs had a theme which sort of surrounded enchanted/magical/mythical kind of ideas, so a dragon? That would fit in nicely.

And misneach's pup is called Anika... I wonder what Verdana's is called...
