1 is unfair to the cake dog by roughly a red rose tier

2 is very unfair to the bottom.. the first plushie is worth an 09 rare alone and all of there items worth maybe a 2015 common (they were part of a free set and its noy a complete set)

3 the dog plushie is worth around the 34 c$ alone.. so the rose petals are perfect swaps so the rest of the items are unneeded to make it fair

No it was unfair to the shima side in rarity and demand.. shimas are going for mid to high advents demand wise at the moment

And i believe the swirl dog is an 08 as well so if you removed the shima and swirl dog from your side and one rare from their side, it would be fair (though the gsd does have a bit of demand)

It doesn't matter what Shima longtails are "going for." That is not an accurate measure of any demand for the pet, it's only what a few foolish people are paying and what many more people are demanding as payment.

The three 2nd gen dogs on the top side are all extended release pets that were available until late 2009, so they are only worth a late 2009 rare each. I don't know what you're saying, actually, as you seem to have the sides mixed up and I can't tell who you're saying it's unfair to.

The trade was quite unfair to the bottom, but not because of the Shima longtail. The black and white skull Malk cat would have been a fair trade for that.

The red rose is worth an early 2009 rare and thus the trade is unfair to the rose. For reference, the dolphin balloon is worth an early 2010 rare.
