It's a store pet that was available from February - March 2014.
This particular outcome is known as the Lilac Koi. Sometimes they're also referred to as Kirin instad of Koi.

Hey! So I have looked and looked for this pet on the wishlist and for some reason I cannot find it anywhere. I didn't think there were really any pets from 2009 that were common so I'm really confused as to when this pet was released. It's "birth date" of sorts says it was adopted 2009-05-26. Thanks for your help!

These dogs were first released in January 2009, but they were up for adoption until April 2010.
That's why their adoption dates are so inconsistent, and also a big reason why their rarities are mostly low.
Back in the earlier days of CS, it wasn't uncommon for some adopts to be around for a few months. The same was also the case with some old butterfly wolves, other 2nd Gen litters, and the Warrior Cats sitting cats.
