Someone sent me a trade asking for a pet, telling me it was their dreamie. I canceled, saying "I'm gifting it to someone", and that's true. It's already in a trade that I sent to someone, as it's one of their dreamies. I'm sorry if that offended the user, but I'd feel horrid canceling a gift to someone that included their dreamie just to give it to someone else. I feel bad, but I sent the trade a few hours ago...

I personally find it extremely rude when people have 'Don't send trades like this' in their rules. Regardless, the user was likely new and trying their best to offer a trade they thought could be fair. COPPAs in general are often children under the age of 13, don't mock them for trying
I think linking bad trades in rules should be banned honestly, it just bothers me. Heck, I didn't really learn my rarities until late 2013! When someone joins is just a number, not a measurement of knowledge

When people have stuff like "don't send trades like this" they aren't always new, I've had people from 2012 try to totally rip me off, and I still sent generally fair trades, just because you're young doesn't mean you should lack in common sense, you don't know have to "know your rarities" to work something out, you could do simple math like I did with dates and rarities.

Found a person with more than a few of the pets I am hoarding, so I scroll up to read their rules.

I trade commons for commons, uncommons for uncommons, rares for rares, etc!

Alright, easy enough. Except the pet I want is very common and the only pets on this person's wishlist are rares+.
I'm OK with this by itself and I'm not angry at the person, they didn't do anything wrong at all. Their rules are fine and I agree with them completely. I just needed to vent about the fact that I can't get 5 more pets for my hoard from this person because there's no very commons or commons on their wishlist for me to give in return.
Oh well, back to searching I suppose.
