As soon as I posted on "What Pet is This" regarding the Dec 18 event, people have been shooting trades!

Those are some sweet new URs! I got a couple horses - one I recognize but the other I'll have to check the archives. I don't know past horses so well but I can't complain - my third adopt was the most valuable I've gotten by far - an UR rat!! :) I LOVE the UR rat but I've never traded for one since I knew I'd get too attached. I guess now I don't have to!

Now I just need to go track down a coon puppy - lol. :)

My luck has finally come back to me! All three of my pets were from 2008 and 2009.

my dec. 18th catches are never, like, AWESOME, but also nothing to complain about. this year, I got a rare slumber party rat, a holly dog (yay!), and a horse that I don't recognize yet. I always like trying to trade for 'still growing' dec. 18th pets, because I find it exciting to watch them grow. but every year, it gets harder and harder to trade for them. this is probably mainly because there is so much stress now around making sure that newer users don't get scammed out of their re-releases and ur's, but I'm finding that you can't even trade for things fairly now. I've sent out several trades, only one or two of which were canceled with a kind message explaining their thoughts. all the others are just a 'no' or a 'don't scam me, I'm not stupid' or just no message at all... I'm offended that people think that just because I'm an older member and am sending a trade for a dec. 18th pet, I'm trying to scam them! is anyone else having this issue? [on a separate note, the ur's this year are spectacular. I can't wait to see whether they grow or not, and what their final outcomes will look like!]
