EDIT: does this happen to anyone else?
E2: and I had to get this off my chest it was weighing on me
- I totally understand where you're coming from; it can be hard when it feels like you've done something "wrong" in innocence and aren't given the grace to make amends or gain understanding. When I'd sort of fizzled out before the retirement of the former list, I came back and then felt very uncertain how to get back into the trading scene with high-value pets. It was really daunting. I definitely got a few "that is absolutely not fair at all, what the heck" kinds of messages, and I felt embarrassed when a few of my offers were poorly reviewed on the "Is this a fair trade?" thread. I tried to keep in mind that some people are younger or that tone/intent is hard to understand through text and may have just been blunt, and that helped me to just kind of let it roll off my back.
That said, no one has the right to post a trade specifically for it to be made fun of, and if you think you're being treated unfairly or they might be acting inappropriately, you can send in a help ticket or report the posts to have the moderators determine whether they're being overly critical. ^^ You can have an opinion about whether something's fair or not, but mockery or insulting of the person who sent the unfair trade is against site rules. You don't have to deal with it. <3 I hope
