Not quite sure if I count as an oldie lol, but I actually remember finding CS through a google search. I remember searching "pet adoptable websites" or something similar and then coming across CS in the search results. One of the best parts for me was randomly finding out that 3 of my real life friends had accounts on here too because we had all found CS in various ways on our own
I've been a lot less active here than I used to due to real life stuff, but I'm still around to adopt the new pets every month. I definitely miss roleplaying though. That was so much fun.

chiming in on the "where'd you find cs" thing, mine was seeing a galaxy in a subeta user's signature, and adopting one myself to save the code in a word doc (this was before these newfangled "accounts" all you youngins are so used to existing now lol :p)

Oh man I don't remember who told me but I asked a friend I think what if any of the newer petsites were. And how people were flocking to here. I signed up planning to trade the pets for other site stuff. I only adopted two and didn't know they would need to grow xD!!

I was so excited when that event happened! There hadn't been one the summer before so it was a big, amazing surprise! Loved the pets they had too, I still have all of them!

I found CS back in 2008, due to looking for pet adoptable for my Myspace page. Had almost all the petlabs or whatever they were called. You could feed, water, click to move and they even made sound sometimes. But I put in Pet Adoptables and came across CS and adopted some before you could join or I just didn't understand how, I donno. I kept coming back and finally joined in Oct 2008 where I ended up adopting 1 halloween pumpkin a few days later that became the pps skelly dog and I was smitten. I didn't know you could adopt endlessly, I also didn't wanna be greedy.
I wish I had come forward and asked Nick to put some of my adoptables to my account because I had so many offsite pets! CS was also my pet animals because it was the first time in my life I didn't have my own personal pets (was living with my (now ex) boyfriend at the time.

I found CS from people's layout pages on horseland back before it was disbanded. I saw the pets and followed the link lol

You literally just crushed my childhood spirit, I had no idea HL closed! I remember playing that when I was 8yrs old, like it was where I first learned HMTL (along with Myspace but we don't speak of such evils lmao) I can't believe it's closed!

IM FROM HL TOO- I used to be uhhh Stardust/Blazingstar. I miss the site too but it was so dated, wow.
