Hello again everyone!
Now that I've completed my staff pet collection and am very close to completing my owl collection, I am thinking about trying to collect all the pets in CS.
Anyone have any advice or tips?

Congrats on completing your staff pet collection and lots of luck with your owl collection! I'm not really sure about tips or advice, all I can think of is that you should just actively try to trade for the pets you're missing. If you want to also collect store pets, go for that first, because those won't return. If you don't want to collect store pets, I'd suggest to either just add everything to your WL or break it down to years/groups of years, perhaps starting with the more easy pets if you don't have the fodder for 2008 pets right now! And then work your way up from that!

And apart from that, just enjoy collecting! And just.. don't give up on your dreams c:

I hate that I have enough to afford the last remaining pets i need, but no one who is willing to trade up to afford the pet I have. I'm at a complete standstill, again and Ive tried trading down, but no one will budge. They ALL want gross amounts of overpay that I dont even want to trade anymore.

Anyone else having some not so great luck on your collections? Youre not alone :')

I've definitely felt like this at times ~ but don't fret! There's always going to be somebody that's willing to trade you the things you need. I'm just curious, what are you looking to achieve? c:

People are trying to get the most they can out of the pets they have, and with the people saying that pets are worth more than they are on the fair trade thread doesn't help that at all

I need 9 pets to finish my halloween collection. These 7, plus the ghost cat and purple slep.

I've been having a bit of issue with users wanting outrageous overpay as well. Don't fret, chances are someone else will eventually trade for a reasonable price

I don't mind a little bit of overpay, but I saw someone link a past auction for one of the older PPS or 'special' store pets (not a list one) that had been won with a bid of an OMGSR.

Store pets especially are in very high demand rn. I hope that Nick's project with actual numbers for the rares pets will settle that demand at some point.

I'm okay overpaying with offsite trades tho

I think it's just due to the trading market completely crashing. I have been having struggles trading as well, especially trying to trade some of my 2011 rares for a couple of 2018/2017 rares I'm still missing. Most of the times, trades get cancelled, unfortunately. But don't worry too much about it! Trading can be frustrating, but one day you'll have a trade accepted that means a lot to you and that's the best feeling! c:

What is/are your goals on CS?
i hope to get a complete bunny collection!!

How close are you to completion?
i dont think im even halfway there? but i also havent been actively trying for a while

How long have you worked on this goal?
ive been working on and off for this for the better part of a year? i think i started in january or febuary? not too sure.


demand and the ex-list is probably going to make my quest way more difficult than it needs to be ;; the clockwork and skellebun are gonna be very difficult to get, haha. but im willing to wait!! i may not have the pets i need to trade for it now but im trying my best! ^^

Oh, I agree! The thing is, it is hard not to be tempted into feeding the outrageous demand. But, I don't mind playing the waiting game for a while

for those of y'all struggling to find some recent rares and what not, feel free to send a trade to me for up to 2 rares (2015-2019) and up to 10 uncommons from 2013-2019. no dupes please, this is meant to help collectors! :)
