How do you go about getting fodder for older pets?

these are the two things that help me:

one) offsite trading. if you have an account with another popular website (e.g. Flightrising) offsite trading is very easy, and you can even skip the whole fodder part and save up enough money/items to exchange for your dream pets.
two) trade for older uncommons, i don't know what the exact rate is but trade a few more recent uncommons (might work well with people that hoard them) for older uncommons from 2009/2010. some users like to trade off the list for a lot of uncommons or trade a few uncommons for rares. it's all a slow, but definitely a worth-it process.

I haven't had any ideas for new collection goals in a while. But then I remembered....
There's betta fish! C:
So now I'm on the hunt for them. There's only 12 of them so it's a pretty small collection, but considering that all but two are rare.... It might take me a little while.

I just have one more betta fish to get, and my collection will be complete. The last one is always the hardest to find, I swear. ;n;

I am working to organize my groups because I have over a hundred pages of pets in my unsorted folder!! My goal is to get it down to 95 or less pages, my only concern is that I'm not sure where to put these little guys, what species are they classified as?^^

They're PPS on the middle stage of ponies!


I got a lot of really incredible gifts for my birthday on Monday and with that I'm down to 509 pets remaining. 8D

I'm slowly coming to middle poiint of my goal. I'm down to 94 pages on my wishlist.

But problem is that no one that i have found somfar is willing to trade rares for bulk pets and the last i need of 2017 are the store pets and event rares. Any tips on how i can trade up for non wishlist rares for fodder?
