I haven't been on CS for about a week and I just realised that I won a giveaway for a VR 2008 dog I entered a while ago! It's the first breakthrough in my collection in a while, so I'm super happy right now :'3

I'm considering trying to trade off parts of my item collection for pets at the moment. I'm still pursuing my plushie and aimal egg collection but I've noticed that apart from some background items and scenery stuff, I don't use many of my other items in dressups. Has anyone else had much luck in this department? Do many people trade older/rare pets for items, such as wigs or clothing, etc? o.o

Collection update time!! I quietly picked up two collections and have made major progress!

Mini-Me is a collection of animal eggs and the pets that go along with them. I have 64/70 of the pets needed and 68/70 of the animal eggs. I'm only missing animal eggs 1 and 2!
The Savannah is my lion collection and I am at 67/93. Three are missing from the group because they're in my favorites group (all are the VR lions) so the only major lion I am missing is the UR Lion but I've been sending out some offers (:

Of my group, which has 7 missing from a full lion set, I count 101 lions on CS? I'm probably wrong; it's getting late and I'm getting tired 😂

Edit: Yep, I'm wrong. Apparently it's 110? (+9 from summer events) 117 total lions. I have to dig through groups again 😤

My woe is completing my item collection. I know some are going to be hard to find or require list pets...but then there's just some costume parts, horse blankets, stray tokens, and some st.patrick shoes left over to get and I just keep running into locked items. I did make some headway not to long ago, but I'm just eager to complete these

I don't have any hopes of finishing my item collection, but I'm also content with what I have, because I got a complete DIY cake set, finished my rat butterfly costumes again (OTL traded them away back when they were released) and own all animal eggs.

That totally explains why I have 35 on my wishlist rip. I went off the lion count on Shian's pet count thing. I'll update it now ^-^
I got 115 when I just counted through the archive again.
I also don't count the dinosaur store pets as lions if that makes our numbers off as well!

I'm kinda tempted to not collect the UR pets cause 1 I don't really like them, and 2 they are very very hard to collect. Do you guys consider UR Pets a part of a complete collection?

I'll probably just work on getting the Mint UR horse since that's my last 'dreamie'.

Technically I don't want to count the cheetahs as lions, but they're apparently on the lineart so I counted it.

Even then, I'm keeping certain ones out of my lion group (hoards, summer event, and store pets). I rely on the archive instead of lists; they tend to be outdated vs the archives. I think all mine are accounted for now (really need to update my group sorting again 😝)

Now I just need to finish my bat collection & item collection. Once I finish those, I'll start some new ones hehe

I honestly thought bats were going to be easy but literally no one has the last few I need. It's like erghh

And items are literally a pain. They show up and then they disappear all of a sudden xD

Gah, that must be so frustrating! I'd offer to help, but... I am also lacking in the bat department ^.^; I really don't see them around for some reason, which I feel like is a bit weird but honestly I don't even know anymore XP

Gosh, yeah, items are kind of the worst XD It doesn't help that there's really no good way to trade with the more valuable ones, since they don't have rarities explicitly stated, and the old ones never get re-released. I'm just looking for two and that's become a bit more tiring than I had hoped XP

Good luck on bats. I actually hoard them, but what got my set done was finishing the Halloween set ^^

i've never been happier!
pet count:
cats: 12. || lions: 3. || total: 15.

this is the lowest my pet count has ever been. lot of love for my most recent addition that hasn't came from the year 2017. i am definitely going to be a lot slower at getting the remaining cats and lions, as the majority of them are list pets or very rares, which i'm struggling to get now.
